The sports law practice benefits from a wide network of contacts across a number of jurisdictions and the expertise gained from the financial, corporate and dispute practices. In addition the practice co-operates with sport specific experts to tailor advice/services to the needs of our clients be they athletes, teams or sponsors. We do not seek to be agents but rather we provide Legal Advice, Client Care, Brand Management and Ancillary Services.
Although new to football we have a significant advantage in that all of our dealings with English football clubs are conducted through and with Mr. Barry Silkman who was rated among the Top Ten most influential football agents in 2013. This gives our clients un-paralleled access to English football and football opportunities in general.
Marketing we will undertake to use our best efforts to actively market all of our athletes to teams sponsors and for endorsements as appropriate. Summaries of contacts will be provided during follow up meetings (see below);
Follow-Up Meetings we will meet with our athletes via phone at least 1x per week to discuss contractual matters, Brand Management (see below) sponsorship and/or endorsement opportunities, expressions of interest from teams, and other needs that may arise. In addition we will have a face to face Follow-Up Meeting 1x per month to discuss the above.
Provide advice with respect to Website, Facebook (non personal) media exposure and management. Brand Management is designed to maximize endorsement opportunities and raise our client's profile as professionals.
Financial advice: we co-operate with wealth managers that can arrange a variety of investments as well help arrange insurance (sports specific), bank accounts etc.
Training Assistance (football and general fitness).
Medical Referral, if needed we have contacts with leading orthopedic surgeons in the CR.
